Tahinilla maustettu parsakaali
I have decided to start posting a few more side dish recipes. I think it is nice to have a good collection of add-on dishes that you can pair with your favourite main course. This is a super easy way to serve broccoli, but not only is it simple, it is incredibly tasty. The tahini sauce takes literally seconds to make and is so creamy and good it takes broccoli to a whole new level.
500 g broccoli, cut into florets
3 tbsp tahini
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
a squeeze of lemon juice
a good pinch of salt
mix toasted chopped nuts to serve
Steam your broccoli, until just tender and refresh immediately in ice cold water.
Meanwhile make you tahini sauce. Add the tahini, oil, lemon juice, salt and maple syrup to a bowl and quickly whisk together.
Either drizzle the sauce over your broccoli, or alternatively toss the broccoli in the tahini sauce.
Sprinkle with your toasted chopped nuts just before serving so they stay crunchy.
