You may have seen my isobeyaki post, mochi dipped in soy sauce and wrapped in nori. Well did you know mochi are also perfect paired with sweet ingredients. Here I served @clearspringuk brown rice mochi with vanilla oat ice-cream, raspberries, cherries, chopped nuts and a drizzle of @clearspringuk rice malt syrup. Have you ever tried mochi? They are delicious pounded rice cakes which puff up in the oven and crisp on the outside, while staying soft and gooey in the middle. This is a Japanese dish called Isobeyaki using ingredients from my fave company @clearspringuk Brown rice mochi dipped in tamari and wrapped in nori seaweed. Quick and delicious.
