Helppo viiden raaka-aineen suklaatorttu
This is an even easier version of my salted chocolate tart I published a few weeks ago. I was recently gifted a huge hamper full of goodies from my friends at Mö, a small Finnish producer of oat based yoghurts and craft oat drinks. I am completely addicted to their low sugar vanilla oatgurt, but this recipe actually uses their chai and ginger craft oat drink to give the tart a delicate spiced flavour.

The craft oat drink was gifted
5 Ingredient Chocolate Tart – serves 6 to 8
225 g biscuits, whizzed up into crumbs
75 g vegan butter, melted
1 x 275 ml bottle of Mö chai inkivääri Craft Oat Drink
1 and 1/2 tbsps cornstarch
400 g vegan friendly dark chocolate, broken into small pieces
Mix the melted butter and crushed biscuits well and tip into a 20 cm loose bottomed tin. Use the back of spoon to press the biscuit crumb down and up the sides of the tin, to create you tart base. Refrigerate to set.
Meanwhile pour all but 1/2 dl of the oat drink into a sauce pan and heat gently. Stir the cornflour into the reserved oat drink, before tipping into the heated drink. Stir continuously until the liquid has thickened slightly.
Pour the hot oat drink over the broken chocolate and keep stirring until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth and shiny. Pour into your prepared base and place in the fridge for at least a couple of hours to set.
When ready to serve, remove the tart from the fridge and leave for 30 mins at room temperature. This will make the tart easier to remove from the tin. Decorate as you wish and enjoy!
